Many students spend an amazing amount of time, sometimes years, looking for shortcuts. Today, too many people are preoccupied with finding a better, quicker way. I have taught many students who have never reached their goal of becoming a first rate professional player. This was simply because they would not discipline themselves to practice fundamentals--the old fashioned way. Repetition! Stay the course.
