The Bass Workout is designed to get you practicing the right stuff. Emphasis is placed on correct hand position and developing good practice habits. Left and right hand techniques will be covered in depth. We will build stamina, speed, and fingerboard knowledge through intense workouts. By using play-alongs you will be able to duplicate our practice routines on your own. Reading skills are not necessary to participate, however this session is not for beginners.

Daily schedule:
1 hour sessions, 45 minutes playing and 15 minutes break. Each hour we change topics/and teacher. Some of the topics are generic, i.e. reading music, technique, improvisation, etc.
Every 2nd or 3rd session will be taught by a specific instructor focusing on his specific area of expertise and choice of material.
We will use two rooms, so we will do entire group sessions and then split up.
We will of course do full group playing-circle session using various styles.
The faculty will perform in various combinations at our evening concerts. (maybe some student ensembles as well)

- 11:00 labs
- 12:00 labs
- 1:00 lunch (on your own)
- 2:00 labs
- 3:00 labs
- 4:00 labs
- 5:00 dinner (on your own)
- 6:00: Faculty Concert
- 7:30 Finish
